He is a Composer and has finished two project albums in his home studio. He started his professional career in 1980 by playing in dance bands and playing bass with various groups of the Sun International Circuit, Philharmonic Orchestra and National Symphony Orchestra. Trevor has also taught bass at the University of Natal and Westville University and has appeared on numerous television musical programmes. (All that Jazz, Bambanami, The Jerry Springer Show, Strictly come dancing) He has performed with Darius Brubeck, Richie Cole, Rene Mclean and Short Attention Span with guitarist Johnny Fourie, Roy Peterson, Barney Rachabane, Ray Phiri, Alan Kwela, Tony Cox, Denzil Weale, Paul Hanmer, Macoy Mrubata, Louis Mhlanga ,George Lee, Vusi Khumalo, Themba Mkhize, Pops Mohamed, Bruce Cassidy, Hotep Galeta, Chris Schilder, Thandi Klaasen, Abigail Kubeka, Mara louw, Wendy Oldfield, and Judy Page.
